The objectives of internal auditing are to assist members of the organization in the effective discharge of their responsibilities by furnishing them with analyses, appraisals, recommendations, counsel, and information concerning the activities reviewed and by promoting effective control and sound business practices at reasonable cost. A Staff Auditor will operate under this process, working with other members of the internal audit team.


  • Responsible for determining CSI's compliance with internal policies, client procedures and applicable industry-related regulation
  • Responsible for systematically sampling the adequacy and reliability of internal controls
  • Performs review and verification of records, client compliance standards, policies and procedures
  • Assists in development of audit procedures and systems
  • Conducts risk assessment of assigned department or functional area in established/required timeline
  • Determine scope of review
  • Review the suitability of internal control design and recommend changes
  • Conduct audit testing of specified area and identify reportable issues and dimension of risk
  • Communicates audit findings and recommendations to Audit Committee, as well as responsible parties
  • Draft comprehensive and complete report of audit areas, findings and recommendations
  • Employee should be flexible and willing to take on other responsibilities as needed
  • Strong analytical, written/verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
  • Ability to adapt to change quickly and multi-task. ¬†


  • Minimum of 1 year experience with auditing, monitoring or comparable environment¬†(can include any CSI internal experience)
  • Effective communicator including excellent written and verbal skills
  • Strong comprehension skills and detail oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
  • Schedule is Monday-Friday 8-5pm (may vary upon client requirements)
