Leadership Development Manager

We are currently looking for a Leadership Development Manager to identify and prepare employees to assume management and leadership roles.  In this newly created, high-visibility position, you will report to the HR Director and collaborate with the Training Manager to create a ready "pipeline" of managers to fill leadership roles as they become available.  This position will be vital to our organization moving into the next level of growth. Job Summary:   

Conduct Manager Training, Ongoing Manager Development, Succession Planning, administer employee & manager surveys.  This is a full time position and will require 10-15% travel to other sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and train employees to assume management and leadership positions
  • Develop and manage succession planning
  • Ability to travel to other sites to conduct training and learning activities (10-15% travel)
  • Build programs for recurring manager training throughout the  
  • Administer employee and manager surveys, analyze results, and develop action plans 
  • Determine training techniques and tools necessary to achieve learning
  • Work independently to create training materials and curriculum
  • Collaborate with leaders and managers across the company

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Leadership and Management training experience
  • Experience as a Manager and Leader
  • Curriculum Development experience
  • Experience developing and administering employee surveys
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Four year college degree in Training, Organizational Development or related field preferred 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A high level of work ethic and excellent time management skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and capabilities. 
  • Intermediate computer skills required, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
